17/18 SEASON: EVANSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Evanston, IL - My second season performing as principal harpist with the Evanston Symphony Orchestra and conductor, Lawrence Eckerling:

Sunday, February 4th, ESO's exciting second concert of the season celebrated the rich musical traditions of Spain and Latin America with Chabrier's España, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, Ginastera's Estancia Suite, Moncayo's Huapango, Piazzolla's Oblivion, Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio Espangol, and Bernstein's "Mambo" from West Side Story. Featured soloists included violinist and ESO concertmaster, Julie Fischer and guitarist, Jason Blair Lewis (Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, 50 Arts Circle Drive).

Sunday, May 13th, The final concert of the season featured three monumental works: Corigliano's Promenade Overture, Stravinsky's Firebird Suite, and Brahms's Piano Concerto No. 1, featuring pianist, Thomas Pandolfi (Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, 50 Arts Circle Drive).
