JUN/24: PRESENTING WITH ANN HOBSON PILOT AT AHS NATIONAL CONFERENCE
Orlando, FL - I am thrilled and honored to be moderating a discussion on the music of John Williams with my harp teacher and mentor, Ann Hobson Pilot, at the American Harp Society's 45th National Conference in Orlando, Florida. Our presentation takes place on Monday, June 17th at 2:30PM at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Resort. The discussion will focus on John Williams's concerto for harp and orchestra, On Willows and Birches, composed for Ann Hobson Pilot in celebration of her retirement from the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 2009, and will include a screening of her first performance from almost 15 years ago. I studied with Mrs. Pilot at Boston University from 2005-2010 and absolutely owe her for so much of the successes I've had in my musical career.
