NOV/24: ILLINOIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Springfield, IL - I'll be back in central Illinois for two more concerts with Illinois Symphony Orchestra in Springfield on Friday, November 8th at 7:30PM and in Bloomington-Normal on Saturday, November 9th at 7:30PM. The orchestra will be led by guest conductor, Alastair Willis in Paris Impressions, a program featuring the most influential composers and works of France in the early 20th-century including selections from Franck's Symphony in D, Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Poulenc's Les Biches, Ravel's La Valse, and selections from Stravinsky's ballets Firebird, Rite of Spring, and Petrouchka. Performances will take place at University of Illinois at Springfield and University of South Illinois.
